Laser Printer क्या होता है

Laser Printer : 

Laser printer non - impact printer है इसे page printer भी कहते हैं क्योंकि यह एक समय में एक page को print करता है । इसका use computer system में 1970 से हो रहा है । यह पहले केवल manframe computer में use किए जाते थे क्योंकि ये अपेक्षाकृत बहुत fast speed में graphic आदि को print करने में सक्षम है । यह 1980 में micro computer के available थे ये printer आज कल अधिक famous हैं क्योंकि ये very fast और high quality में text और graphic print करने में capable हैं यह भी dot matric का use करता है किन्तु इसमें dots इतने अधिक पास में होते हैं कि वह एक ही character दिखाई देता है इसकी printing electrostatic या optical method पर based होती है व इसमें lesar beem और electro graphic technique का combind use किया जाता हैं यह बिल्कुल xerox machine के समान होता है । इसमें Photo sencitive drum पर lesar के द्वारा image बनायी जाती है इस process को करने के लिए laser को on या off करना होता है जब वह drum पर आगे व पीछे जाती है इस image को ink देने के लिए toner को drum की image पर apply किया जाता है । फिर यह image electro staticaly drum से paper पर transpher हो जाती है साथ ही साथ heating की process भी चलती रहती है जिससे कि ink image को paper पर fuse किया जाता है इसकी printing speed लगभग 20,000 line per minute होती है अधिकतर laser printer में एक अतिरिक्त micro processor RAM or ROM होते हैं ROM में font or paper को व्यवस्थित करने के program store रहते हैं । laser printer high quality का printout provide करता है । प्रायः : यह 300 dotper intch से अधिक resulation की printing करता है colour laser printer high quality में colour output देता है इसमें विशेष tonner होता है । laser printer मंहगे होते हैं लेकिन इनकी printing की speed fast होती है प्लास्टिक की sheet व अन्य किसी sheet पर भी output को print कर सकते हैं ।
